No purpose, No hurry

There is no purpose of self, other than knowing the self. Even enlightenment cannot be purpose of self, because self is just a continuous flow of energy like river flow. Everything that is associated with a purpose stops when purpose is completed. However, the self is pure flow of energy keep continuously flowing as a part of this whole universe. So, basically when you sit for meditation or say Zen with any kind of purpose associated with it, do not lead you anywhere. Because ultimately it’s all about leaving the last tiny support which let you try to swim, because it’s not about swimming, it’s about floating, or flowing.
There is no purpose of river, but it flows being in nature and it reaches where it has to reach. We have to understand the nature of self, and to understand it we have to drop the last string attached. So, when you sit to meditate or practice Zen, and the last string of desire to get enlightenment is attached then you not able to understand the nature of self. This happened to Buddha, after meditating several years he left all the hope. He was just at the door, but unable to enter because of string attached. And then one day it just happened, it happened when he saw the leaves falling from the tree, under which he was sitting for meditation. He realized the natural flow of leaves, without any purpose and he realized that self is also in the nature, with the same flow.
Actually, the purest of self is already enlightened however we never been able to see it because of our accumulated desire in life after lives. But then question arises that, what is the purpose of meditation or Zen, the purpose is to prepare our self to reach to the state where we can just able to realize the nature of self. Have had Buddha realized the nature of self by seeing falling leaves, if he could not have meditated for several years. No, he could not. He could not realize it, if he had not been prepared the self for that very moment.
I wish, I become aware on moment to moment basis, go deeper and deeper in when I sit for Zen. I wish my every act of life have full aware state of Zen, and I pray for all to have the same.
